About

Surface Detail are a progressive metal band from Scotland (near Glasgow), formed in 2022. Drawing influences from across the progressive, post-metal and atmospheric spectrum, the band have built a sound that rewards close listening — expansive, dark, and shot through with unexpected colour.

With two EPs to their name and a growing live presence across Scotland, Surface Detail are currently working on new material.
