About
Surface Detail are a progressive metal band from Scotland, formed in [Year]. Drawing influences from across the progressive, post-metal and atmospheric spectrum, the band have built a sound that rewards close listening — expansive, dark, and shot through with unexpected colour.
The band are Adam on guitar and bass, Andrew holding down the rhythm on drums and percussion, Elaine colouring the edges with keyboards and synth, and Marcy, who runs the low end and has a very distinctive way of making a point.
With two EPs to their name and a growing live presence, Surface Detail are currently working on new material. Follow along on socials for updates.
